Deadman at Jovita’s

Okay — so Deadman plays a show at Jovita’s with Chris Brecht and the Dead Flowers Band and I am having a blast talking with Meagan Tubb and her Hoosier friend Matt and meanwhile Gene Chavez is shooting photos and later he sends me this collage that shows quite clearly what a great show it was. Deadman is Steven Collins and his band — and they are playing Sunday, June 7th, at Momo’s Club — and June 12th at the Continental Club. With the addition of Matt Mollica (cowboy hat) on Hammond B3, the comparisons to The Band may be even more frequent (just as many compare Chris Brecht to that guy from Hibbing, Minnesota].
